- How many brochures will I need?
- Quantities of brochures are estimated on an individual basis. We must first know which routes you are intending to purchase before quantities can be estimated. Estimates are determined based on past experience with similar brochures.
- What if I don’t have the number of brochures that are estimated?
- Because ours is a weekly service, we can generally work with whatever quantity you feel comfortable providing. However, if you do not provide the quantity estimated, it is possible we will run short prior to the end of the distribution period.
- Can I give you some brochures and then bring you more when you run low?
- If possible, it is always best to provide the full quantity at the beginning of the distribution so as to avoid the possibilities of racks running out before more brochures are provided. But again, the brochures are yours and we will work with whatever quantity you provide and do the best we can.
- How do I get started?
- Please fill out the form on our Contact page, then we will send you an agreement, spelling out the routes and rates. You fill out the agreement, showing which routes you are interested in purchasing, sign the agreement and send it back to us. We will then confirm that we have space by signing it and sending you a copy with an estimate of brochures needed along with shipping instructions.
- How do I get you my brochures?
- You are responsible for getting your brochures to us. When your agreement is confirmed, we will send shipping instructions. Sometimes it is possible to drop off your brochures at a storage area closer to you.
- What is the minimum purchase?
- In the summertime, we generally require a one route purchase (about 50 locations) for the whole season (May 15-Labor Day). At other times of the year, a monthly purchase is possible.
- Do you give quantity discounts, non-profit or pre-payment discounts?
- Because of the limited size of our racks and because we sell out at the height of the season, we do not offer a quantity or non-profit discount. Rates are determined as fairly as possible and we try to stay affordable for small businesses like ourselves.
- However, we do offer a pre-payment discount of 5% (by March 15 prior to the summer season and by October 15 prior to the winter season.)
- When do I need to get you my brochures?
- For summer distribution we ask for brochures by April 15. This is because we get so many brochures at the same time in the spring time and seasonal racks get delivered throughout April and May. If you are late in getting the brochures to us, we will still work to get them into the racks as soon as possible. Once the season begins the routes are done weekly so late deliveries are generally not too much of a problem. For winter distribution we ask for brochures by October 15.
- I have a brochure for my restaurant (or my hotel). Can you distribute it?
- Because so many of our locations are in restaurants and hotels, we generally cannot distribute brochures of that nature because we do not wish to have competitive material in the racks.
- What size should my brochure be?
- The typical brochure size is 4" x 8-1/2". Your brochure should not be any wider than 4-1/2 inches and should not be taller than 9-1/2 inches. We can handle wider magazine-style pieces on a limited basis but call for details and prices.
- Which routes make the most sense for me to purchase?
- We generally advise people to begin with those routes closest to their place of business and work out from there as budget permits.
- Are there types of brochures you generally don’t distribute?
- We limit ourselves to brochures related to tourism and which do not compete with the restaurant and hotel locations which are numerous on our routes.
- What is involved in getting a rack to display at my place of business?
- Racks are provided free of charge to businesses that wish to have a display of visitor information for their guests. The racks are tended weekly by our distributors so they are kept neat and replenished. A display place within our route area that is accessible to your guests and our distributors is the only requirement.
